For request-to-exit applications, the DORMA PBRR rotary release mushroom button is pushed once to engage. To release, the button is rotated in the direction of the arrows. The PBKR mushroom button for emergency release applications is reset with a turn of the key.
These sleek, beveled-edge key switches are designed to discourage tampering. Tamper-resistant screws and a special driver are included with the key switch to prevent unauthorized removal of the faceplate. The cover plate and switch mounting design can be used with most standard and recessed electrical utility boxes.

The Fire electric strike conveniently unlocks fire and smoke doors and may be used in conjunction with intercoms, access control systems and the like. As the system is available for all conventional operating voltages, it is perfectly suitable whenever access control, security and user convenience are inseparable.
The Fire model with symmetrical case allows position-independent (non-handed) mounting and thereby reduces the day-to-day planning and installation work. Thanks to uniform case dimensions, easy connection to all conventional operating voltages and the adjustable latch, the system provides easy adaptation to all kinds of doors and structural conditions.
Thanks to its position-independent (non-handed) fire protection approval, the electric strike for fire doors is universally compatible with various locks and door types. Electro-magnets for hold-open systems
The statutory regulations which apply in many countries allow fire and smoke check doors to be held open for a limited period of time by electro-magnetic hold-open devices which, in the event of a fire, are de-energized to release the door so as to enable automatic closing.
It must also be possible to manually release any hold-open device. According to the applicable guidelines for hold-open systems, a manual release pushbutton is necessary when employing electromagnets in such applications. The pushbutton employed must be red, carry the wording “Close door”, be located in the immediate vicinity of the door, and must not be hidden when the door is in its hold-open position.
